Founders
Fredie Sekyewa is a strong community icon, church leader and pastor, writer and a prominent coffee farmer, who has grown through the ranks with a great vision of transforming the lives of many people, families and communities and bringing many to the realization of Christ’s love.
Pastor Fredie was born and raised in the now Kyotera District and together with his wife Rebecca are the Founders and Ministry Directors of Celebrate Hope Ministries, which they started in December 2009. Celebrate Hope Ministries is envisioned at uplifting people’s livelihoods and preaching the Gospel of Jesus to release people from all bondages of oppression, powerlessness, poverty and illness.
Pastor Fredie Sekyewa holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership and Management, and is one of the Lead Pastors at Ggaba Community Church and is also the chairman of the Elders Board in the same church plus, he sits on and chairs several other boards of different ministries and organizations.
Together with Rebecca, they have four biological children and fostered many other children.
